This
list is designed to give you more information about Acorn Tree
Acorn Tree is very centrally situated to access
all activities that has attracted you to Cape Town – as well as positioned in
a quiet neighborhood. Restaurants, shops and entertainment are within 2
kilometers. An English pub called Forrester’s Arms serves excellent lunches
and dinners is within walking distance.
Kitchen
All kitchen appliances and utensils needed to
prepare most meals are available. Electric and gas cooking facilities including
an oven. Centre island preparation table, preparation bowl and an open plan
serving area which seats 3 comfortably. Cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, serving
dishes, table cloths and napkins. AEG Dishwasher, double sink, washing liquid
and drying towels. Fridge and freezer.
Bedrooms
Each guest is supplied a bath, hand and swimming
pool towel with bath soaps. Beds are fitted with duvets, 2 pillows, continental
pillows and a blanket and mattress protector. There is a large built in cupboard
in every bedroom as well as bedside tables and lamps. The 3 double bedrooms have
direct access to the patio and private garden.
Pool
Please note that the pool is not fenced or
covered, there is a safety net available should you require it. There is an
automatic pool cleaner which should keep the pool trouble free for you. There
are pool chairs, loungers and a private sun patio with wonderful mountain views.
This also makes an excellent sundowner area.
Pool table
You are welcome to use and enjoy the pool table.
Barbeque
There is a barbeque patio which joins the living
area and overlooks the pool. There is also a small bar fridge outdoors.
Staff
A cleaning lady arrives every Wednesday and
Friday from 10.30 am. She will tend to the cleaning of the house, as well as
changing the bed linen on a weekly basis. She finishes around 4 p.m.

Parking
Parking for 2 cars in the driveway and one in the auto garage.
Security
A private security company is paid to keep a
watchful eye on Acorn Tree. At the push of a button a patrol car will arrive to
attend to your safety should you feel it necessary.
Consumables
On arrival the following will be supplied. Soaps
for the dishwasher, washing machine, sink and bathrooms as well as basic
cleaning materials, carlton roll, toilet paper and pool chemicals.
Water and electricity is supplied free of charge.
Two sets of keys including garage remotes.
White Furniture
Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer,
toaster, kettle, coffee maker, sandwich maker, blender, vacuum machine.
Family room furniture
Dining table, 6 dining chairs, 3 bar stools,
bookshelf with travel information, radio, T.V., video, DVD player. 6 seater
couch. Coffee tables. 2 out door patio tables, 11 patio chairs and 2 pool
loungers with cushions.
